Hello! I am Tracey, the girl behind the blog. I would like to start off by welcoming you and sharing a little bit about myself, because what’s a good blog without knowing a little bit about the author?

I am a small town girl from Clinton, Tennessee. I was born and raised here. I came from a two parent family with one little brother. My parents ended up divorcing once I reached age 12. My pre-teen years were a rollercoaster of emotions, for sure. It took time, but I adjusted. After living with my mom for two years, I moved in with my dad around age 14. My mom was battling addiction at that time, so it was for the best. Once I hit high school, things got better. My mom was finally becoming a mother again, getting out of an abusive relationship and seeking help for some issues. I was finally beginning to fit in again, life was great. Then once again, my life took a turn— I became pregnant at age 16. I was put on home bound schooling and later fully homeschooled. My mom was officially free from her burdens, so she was the best help. My parents were both disappointed, but they made it doable for me, which I was so grateful for. Addison was born on June 10th, 2011 and absolutely the best thing that ever happened to me. She was and still is the most gorgeous girl in the world. Her dad and I never really worked out, due to being so young.

I was later reunited with Jordan {childhood crush} and began dating when I was 17. We celebrated our one year anniversary on May 14th, 2013. And shortly after, we found out we were expecting our first, my second child. Carson made his appearance into this world on March 3rd, 2014. We eventually moved out and got our first apartment the following year. We were so blessed to have had so much at such a young age. We learned how to manage a household, take care of kids and love each other. He was the first person to love me for me and understand that I had a child. I felt on top of the world.

Now, I am 23, he’s 25 and we just celebrated our six year anniversary last month. True love waits, that’s for sure. We now have not only two, but three beautiful children. We added our third and last addition last Fall. Our Rainbow Baby, Norah, was born on September 26, 2017 after 12 hours of labor. We have our own home and just living life one day at a time.

I am starting this blog to document our journey together as young parents while enjoying all of the lovely little things along the way. I hope to blog about our fun adventures as a family of five, parenting advice, product reviews, DIY projects and even the occasional giveaways. Come on now, who doesn’t love free stuff?!

I hope that if you are a younger mom {like me} that my blog can help you see the humor and beauty in parenthood and to know that you are not alone in this journey whether it be teen pregnancy or parenting. I also hope all mothers, not just the young ones, can join here because we all have one thing in common – we are Mom. We all had a baby, wake up during the night, get puked & pooped on and love our babies more than anything.

I cannot wait to blog here every week, so y’all can see inside our world and get to know us! Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my blog. We hope to see active followers! Much love!! xo
